Israeli military confirms killing of Hamas financier in Rafah

The Israeli military announced on Thursday that it assassinated a financier responsible for funding Hamas’ military operations in the city of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee said in a statement that the army and the internal security agency Shin Bet eliminated Nasser Yakob Jabber Nasser, who had funded a significant portion of Hamas’ military activities in Rafah and transferred hundreds of thousands of U.S. dollars to Hamas in December last year.
Over the past few days, Israeli forces have carried out precision strikes in northern Gaza, killing several “saboteurs” and destroying some Hamas infrastructure, including a training facility.
