Two civilians were killed early Tuesday in a drone attack in Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan region, local authorities said.
An explosives-laden drone launched from Iran struck a residential house in the Darashakran district of Erbil province at 12:15 a.m. on Tuesday, the regional Directorate General of Counter Terrorism said in a statement.
The counter terrorism service condemned the attack, calling it a violation of international law and a war crime.
