3 rescued from floodwaters in South Australia

Authorities on Monday rescued three people who drove into floodwaters in South Australia amid heavy rainfall across the state.
SA Police said that emergency services were called to reports that a vehicle had driven into a flooded area in the suburb of Hillier, 35 km north of central Adelaide, around 4:50 a.m. local time on Monday.
Two occupants, a man and a woman, managed to escape the vehicle through windows. While police were helping them to safety, a second vehicle drove into the water and also became stuck.
The male driver exited the vehicle and was helped to safety.
