5 survivors of sunken Indonesian boat found after 4 days at sea

Five people who went missing after the KM Nurul Salsa sank off Indonesia’s South Sulawesi province were found alive on Saturday after surviving four days at sea, the country’s search and rescue agency said Sunday.
The survivors were rescued near Matallang Island after being spotted by a passing fishing vessel.
They survived by staying afloat and holding onto a fish aggregating device used by local fishermen, according to the agency.
The five survivors have received medical treatment and undergone further assessment, said Muhammad Arif Anwar, head of the Makassar Search and Rescue Office.
