{"id":36798,"date":"2026-02-20T18:16:00","date_gmt":"2026-02-20T10:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/multimetro.hk\/plus\/2026\/02\/20\/epstein-estate-agrees-to-35-million-settlement-in-victim\/"},"modified":"2026-02-20T18:16:00","modified_gmt":"2026-02-20T10:16:00","slug":"epstein-estate-agrees-to-35-million-settlement-in-victim","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/multimetro.hk\/plus\/2026\/02\/20\/epstein-estate-agrees-to-35-million-settlement-in-victim\/","title":{"rendered":"Epstein estate agrees to $35 million settlement in victim"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jeffrey Epstein\u2019s estate has agreed to pay as much as $35 million to resolve a class action lawsuit that accused two of the disgraced financier&#8217;s advisers \u200bof aiding and abetting his sex trafficking of young women and teenage girls, according \u2060to a court filing on Thursday.<br \/>Boies Schiller Flexner, a law firm representing \u200bEpstein victims, announced the settlement \u200cin a brief filed in federal court in Manhattan.<br \/>The deal, if approved by a judge, would bring \u200ban end to a 2024 lawsuit filed against Epstein&#8217;s former personal lawyer Darren Indyke and former accountant Richard Kahn, who are co-executors of Epstein&#8217;s estate.<br \/>Epstein&#8217;s \u200cestate \u200cpreviously set up a \u200brestitution fund that paid out $121 million to victims.<br \/>The estate also paid out $49 million in additional settlements to victims.<br \/>Neither Indyke nor Kahn &#8220;made any admission or concession of misconduct&#8221; as \u200bpart of the settlement made public on Thursday, their lawyer Daniel H.
