The Chinese Embassy in South Sudan on Tuesday marked the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) with a symposium celebrating both the party’s historic achievements and the deepening bilateral relationship between China and South Sudan.
The event was attended by Agnes Oswaha, undersecretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of South Sudan, Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan Ma Qiang, as well as prominent Chinese and South Sudanese experts, scholars and senior media professionals.
Speaking at the event, Oswaha said China has demonstrated that true partnership begins with respecting the sovereignty of nations, listening to their development priorities, and working together to translate aspirations into practical results.
“The friendship between China and South Sudan is not defined solely by diplomatic exchanges or signed agreements. It is a relationship built on mutual respect, trust, solidarity, and a shared belief that development is best achieved through partnership, dialogue and cooperation,” she said.
Oswaha said China has, over the years, supported South Sudan’s energy, education, healthcare, capacity-building and peace initiatives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
